Our family-run hotel is located directly in the heart of the town Filsen, at the beginning of the Rheinsteig Trekking Trail and the Naturlehrpfad Trail.

Our hotel was built in 1879 and was the first building outside the ancient centre of town. It has always been a guest house. Today the Hotel Altes Tor is a popular destination in an impressive surrounding, a protected UNESCO site, where you can find relaxation.
In order to make your stay as varied as possible we keep a detailed trip brochure ready, with information about the closer and further environment. For motorcyclists there are prepared descriptions of routes and route plans available. Additionally, we have different suggestions for hikers ready.
The Hotel Restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday and offers Sausages and other meats from our own butcher's shop.Our excellent kitchen is the point of attraction of our house. In the summertime, you can eat outside in the garden.
Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 26.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
